The two-roller toothed crusher is designed for grinding forest and biomass in the form of sawdust, straw, grain husks and sunflower husk briquettes.
It is not allowed to crush materials other than those specified in the Operation and Maintenance Manual, in particular stones, concrete and metal elements. These materials are much harder and can damage the toothed impellers and the machine body. In order to eliminate metal inclusions from the feed, it is necessary to use a magnetic separator installed in front of the crusher.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION:
General description of the structure:
The following basic components can be distinguished in the construction of the crusher: body, shaft set, drive and hydraulic system.
Crusher body - made of general purpose non-alloy structural steel sheet. It is welded. It consists of four elements screwed together with screws, and a sliding plate that allows the rollers to be moved apart.
The body consists of:
- base of the body,
- central body,
- two side bodies,
- sliding plate.
List of shafts - the list of shafts includes two shafts with a circular cross-section, on which four crushing rotors are mounted via prismatic keys and clamping expansion rings. The crushing rotors are of welded construction. They consist of thick-walled pipes to which crushing disks are welded. The design of the rotors enables their quick replacement in case of wear.
The shafts are mounted on spherical roller bearings and screwed to the body through steel housings. Crusher drive - two electric motors with a total installed power of 110kW. The drive from the engines is realized via two belt-V-gear transmissions. The motors are placed on the body with the possibility of tightening the belts. V-belt transmissions are secured with safety guards.
The hydraulic system consists of:
- two hydraulic cylinders for the travel of the sliding roller,
- hydraulic power pack,
- divider,
- two hydraulic locks,
- hoses and hydraulic pipes.
This system allows the roller to be moved within the range of about 320mm, thus allowing for a clearance between the rollers' discs equal to about 160mm.
A DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTION:
The raw material passes between the toothed rollers through the housing inlet. The crusher has the ability to adjust the gap between the rollers in the range of approx. 0-320 mm by means of hydraulic cylinders. To adjust the gap, loosen the sliding plate by partially unscrewing the locking screws. The gap is changed by manually overriding the lever of the hydraulic distributor, which changes the extension of the actuators, and thus changes the center distance of the shafts. The size of the aperture can be read from the aperture measurement scale placed under the electric motor. The scale shows three phases of roll engagement. In the phase of spreading by 320 mm, the clearance between the crushing tines is about 160 mm. In the phase of separating the rollers by the dimension of 160 mm, the clearance between the rollers is zero, while in the phase corresponding to the spacing of the rollers at zero, the crushing teeth are meshed with a dimension of approx. 160 mm. Note: As the teeth wear, the values of individual phases will change, i.e. the clearance with the 320 mm setting will increase, and with the zero setting, the meshing value will decrease.
