Construction description:

The basic elements of the crusher are the body, cutting discs and scraper elements. The shafts are mounted on spherical roller bearings in housings and secured with a toothed washer, a bearing nut, covers, labyrinth rings and a pressure washer. The shafts are driven by a geared motor and a toothed gear which gives the shafts with rollers counter-rotation. The gearmotor is secured against rotation by the torque arm. The “reverse” will protect the gearmotor against damage.
The crusher is driven by a planetary gear with an electric motor with a rated power of 22 kW and a rotational speed of ~ 1475 rpm, powered by a voltage of 400/690 V, with a frequency of 50 Hz. The motor should be protected against short-circuits and overloads in accordance with PN-E-05012: 1989. The drive system should be powered with a cable with a cross-section and insulation adapted to the conditions in the place of its installation. The recommendations of the PN-IEC 60364-4-43: 1999 standard should be followed. A safety switch must be installed in the power supply circuit of the motor.

Principles of operation

The crusher works by shredding the waste between two low-speed, counter-rotating rollers. The rollers are made of refined steel cutting discs with six teeth on the circumference. After crushing, we get pieces of shredded waste. Their size depends on the nature of the crushed material and the width of the segments mounted on the crushing rollers. As a result of crushing, the volume of waste is reduced. The linings of the side walls are made of abrasion-resistant material that guarantees longer operation of the machine without the necessity to replace them frequently. The crusher should be equipped with an automatic reversing system, which is activated in the event of choking of the machine and when it is started. Crusher adapted to be placed on a frame.
