Shredder - Two-roller toothed crusher type 1500
Purpose of the crusher:
These crushers are characterized by slow rotation, which guarantees high torque. In addition to the crushing effect, there is also screening, the material with a granulation smaller than the gap between the rollers is screened without the need for grinding, which guarantees greater efficiency and lower power demand.
Crushers of this type can be mounted directly under the hopper, which allows to reduce the size of the crushing line, as it eliminates at least one transport step. Such crushers can be used for grinding clay, wet, dry and medium-hard materials. It is possible to adapt the crusher to the customer's requirements in terms of e.g. efficiency by changing the length of the rotors.

The two-roller toothed crusher works on the crushing principle between two slow-running rollers with counter-rotating rotations. The rotation of the rollers is synchronized with each other through a pair of gears. Cast crushing rollers are mounted on the shafts, while counter-knives are mounted on the inner sides of the crusher's side walls. The counter knives have blades on both sides, which allows them to rotate and thus, longer use. The side wall linings will be made of a hard-wearing material (e.g. Hardox type), which will guarantee a longer operation of the device, without the need for frequent replacement. The crusher is driven by a 45 kW gear motor.
